Hi there and thanks for stopping by. I’m Josh Brightman the principal photographer and owner of Balanced Image Studio a Wollongong based photography and video production studio.

I have travelled with sporting teams around the country, climbed through iconic buildings in Sydney, covered A-list events and created video productions for businesses and universities. It’s fair to say that my job is varied and I love it.

The studio grew out of my passion for photography. Starting as a hobby, I worked hard, studied, practiced and practiced some more. This experience has led me to some fantastic places, where I’ve met great people and photographed some breathtaking scenes.

I believe the only way to get great images is to be professional and to ensure the person I’m working with is relaxed. This is where I use my creativity, experience and charm to get the best out of the person I’m shooting.

When it comes to landscape photography, architecture photography, sports photography I work best by using my creativity and agility to take a shot from a different angle that captures a unique photo.

We have a small group of fantastic photographers, videographers and editors that will ensure that things run smoothly and stress free. We do our best to sweat out the small stuff so that you don’t have to.
